Hon. Cheryl Edwardes was a barrister and solicitor before entering politics. She was Western Australia’s first female Attorney General and served as the state’s Minister for the Environment from 1997 to 2001.

She has extensive experience and knowledge of WA’s legal and regulatory framework relating to mining projects, environmental, native title, heritage and land access.

Most recently, she is a Non-Executive Director of Atlas Iron Limited, a Chairman of Vimy Resources Limited, Councillor AMEC and Chairman of School Volunteer Program.

In 2016, Cheryl Edwardes was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
