Blake Read has 20 years experience in Finance, Commercial and General Management roles predominately in Mining, equipment & people services sectors. Mr Read has held Commercial Management roles in large Public & Private companies and is currently the General Manager – Mining at Programmed Group.
These various roles have allowed him to travel to most parts of Australia and meet with a diverse group of people along the way, within & outside of business. Although his working history has revolved around commercial management, his passion is dealing with people and enjoys seeing people achieve their goals and adding value to everything they do. He believes personal & business growth comes from trying new things and that we all should be looking for opportunities to be better at what we do and what we enjoy. He has worked through a number of mergers & acquisitions and takes a keen interest in the change management process and believes these processes open up fantastic opportunities for people & businesses to learn from one another.
Mr Read is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) & has completed a Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting & Business Law at Curtin University.
